Stellas and the Blues

The guitars which are most associated with preWW2  Country Blues  are the Oscar Schmidt "Stellas".  In relation to this fact, i want to create a section "Stellas and the Blues" when i started the vintagestellaguitars.com website.

In this section you can find "The Guitar of the Month". An in detail describtion of one  instrument will be posted, a video of the guitar  will be video available too. A full  song will be performed on the instrument. Most of the guitars will be Stellas, but not all, some will be for sale, some not, and most of the songs will be blues songs. I try to post some historical facts, if known,  about the songs, the original artists and the guitars as well.
